Huntington’s disease is a difficult challenge for affected and at-risk individuals and their families. But in the greater San Diego region several organizations are working hard to provide advice, support, and care.

The HDSA Center of Excellence for Family Services and Research at the University of California, San Diego offers medical information on HD and genetic testing for the disease. It operates a periodic clinic to examine affected and at-risk individuals and connects families with the HDSA-San Diego support group, care programs, and other services. The Center of Excellence also conducts local research studies. To learn more, please click here.

The Southern Caregiver Resource Center assists families with care-giving and a variety of related issues. Please click here to learn more.

HDSA-San Diego and the Southern Caregiver Resource Center sponsor a monthly support group for people with HD, at-risk individuals, caregivers, and families and friends. For more information, visit our Support Group page by clicking here.
